At 18:55 this evening, Pioneer Fire Company was dispatched to the 300 block of Ridge Avenue for a reported vehicle fire, with multiple callers reporting the incident.

Assistant 15 arrived to find a well-involved sedan in a driveway, in close proximity to the dwelling. Engine 15-1 arrived shortly after, with crews making a quick knock on the fire and preventing extension to the nearby structure.

Church St. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the rear of the dwelling. A 360 size-up was completed, revealing a working fire in the laundry room.

Crews made a quick knock on the fire and began opening up to check for any extension. A small amount of extension was found into the kitchen, but the incident was ultimately held to a room and contents fire.
