No Caption This evening at 5:41 PM, Pioneer Fire Company, along with Lincoln Fire Company, was dispatched to the 300 block of Duke Street for a reported vehicle fire

Within minutes, crews arrived to find a fully involved sedan. Personnel quickly deployed handlines and went to work, bringing the fire under control in approximately 17 minutes. Crews then remained on scene to complete overhaul operations. No other property was effected.

Our Fire Police provided traffic control and scene safety while the tow company loaded the vehicle onto a rollback for removal.

Last night's storm was truly unbelievable. No one anticipated the magnitude of what we experienced. Thousands of residents lost power, and some are still without electricity today.
