| Within minutes, Engine 15-1, Tower 15, and Traffic 15 were responding to assist. Upon arrival, Engine 15-1 secured the second water supply and deployed two crosslays, with one handline advanced through the front door for interior fire attack. Tower 15 crews went to work on Side Alpha, conducting a primary search, laddering the structure, and beginning overhaul operations.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of personnel on scene, the fire was brought under control quickly despite the significant volume of fire encountered on arrival. The teamwork, training, and dedication displayed by all personnel on scene once again demonstrated the value of strong mutual aid partnerships.
Lincoln and Pioneer Fire Police closed off the area to help facilitate safe operations all around.
