| Tuesday nights are training night, and tonight our crews took advantage of an acquired structure to get some valuable, hands-on experience. Training in real buildings allows our firefighters to operate in realistic conditions and better prepare for the calls we respond to every day.
Tonight also gave our new members, juniors, and cadets the opportunity to pull hose lines and navigate “smoky” environments—without the added dangers of live fire. Using a smoke machine, we can simulate real-world conditions while keeping things controlled and safe, helping build confidence, teamwork, and skill.
We are incredibly grateful to the property owners who make this type of training possible. Opportunities like this directly impact how prepared we are when you need us most.
