Jim is one of our dedicated Trustees, who has been serving in the fire service for an incredible 60 years Inspired by his father, who was also a firefighter, Jim followed in his footsteps and built a lifetime of service to the community. What he values most are the strong friendships formed with his fellow firefighters over the years. Outside of the firehouse, Jim enjoys retirement by attending car shows with his Model A, working with his HO trains, and spending time outside in his yard. He’s also a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and proudly cheers them on every season. One of his favorite memories is after having knee surgery, when several members stopped by to visit him after training — arriving in one of our fire trucks — a true reminder that the fire company is more than a team, it’s family.
