| Joshua originally planned to become a police officer while attending the Protective Services Academy through LCCTC, but after participating in firefighting activities, he discovered a passion for the fire service and hasn’t stopped learning since. He enjoys the camaraderie within the company and the shared commitment to constantly improving. For Joshua, one of the most rewarding parts of the job is knowing he’s done his best to help people during their time of need. Outside of the firehouse, Joshua works for Akron Borough Public Works. In his free time, he enjoys working out, camping, and spending time with his two Mini Schnauzers. His advice for new members is to never stop training, keep asking questions,even if they seem simple, because chances are someone else is wondering the same thing. |
