Austin has been serving in the fire service for three years. Inspired by his family’s tradition of service and a strong passion for helping his community, he decided to become a firefighter. His favorite part of the fire service is the camaraderie among fellow firefighters and the opportunity to positively interact with the community. Outside of the fire department, Austin enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and occasionally playing video games. A fun fact about Austin is that he proudly served for nine years in the U.S. Army National Guard before joining the fire department.
