| .. as spring takes hold and the weather gets warmer, more people are out enjoying our borough and township parks. With that also comes an increase in folks grilling and enjoying cookouts with family and friends.
When using park grills, please remember to fully extinguish your charcoal and hot coals before leaving.
Tonight, this grill was found abandoned at Grater Park still containing hot coals. With the stiff breeze we experienced today and tonight, those embers could have easily blown out and caused a serious fire or catastrophe within the park.
We want everyone to enjoy the beautiful weather, make memories, and have a great time outdoors, but please do so responsibly and safely for everyone around you.
