Wednesday, December 21, 2011 17:10 Station 1-5 was dispatched to the 100 block of Grant Street in the Borough to investigate a propane gas leak. Engine 1-5-1, Truck 1-5 arrived on scene to investigate. Firepolice from Ephrata Pioneer and Lincoln Fire Company assisted with traffic control. Two officers from the Borough Police Department assisted in the investigation. A gas line from the outside storage tank to the house was found to be disconnected and the residual gas is what was smelled. All units were cleared from the scene and returned to service
