Saturday, August 21, 2010 The membership of Pioneer Fire Company was invited to attend the Guns and Hoses event set up by Compleat Restorations. This event was held during a Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game and was a great time had by all members who attended. As a special entertainment 2 members were asked to help in a special way. Firefighter Pottieger and Firefighter Zimmerman were asked by the Barnstormers to participate in a boxing match. They agreed, but demanded they be allowed to do it in dresses. The dresses were fitting considering they both hit like girls! The Pioneers would like to thank the Barnstormers for a great time and special thanks to Compleat Restorations for the invitation and all of the work they do for Emergency Responders.
