Friday, April 9, 2010 At approximately 9 am Truck 1-5 was dispatched to assist Station 1-9 (Schoeneck) on a reported house fire at 450 Hertzog Valley Rd.  First arriving units found a 2 story brick house fully involved with fire and dispatched the second alarm bringing in total about 14 Lancaster County fire companies and 2 from Lebanon County.  Units remained on scene for several hours to bring the fire under control.  Most of the house had to be torn down to completely extinguish the fire.  Photos courtesy of Stan Hall.
